HR Partner at the Swedish Agency for Government Employers

The HR unit of the Swedish Agency for Government Employers is responsible for the agency's HR and employer issues.

We provide professional support to managers and employees in everyday and strategic matters and drive the development to be an attractive employer for the future. The unit currently consists of a manager and four employees with different areas of responsibility. In 2026, the unit will be expanded with several new employees.

The Swedish Agency for Government Employers operates in four locations and is in the process of establishing itself in Umeå. This position is based in Karlstad, but travel to all locations is required.

We are now looking for an HR Partner who wants to work with operational and proactive HR support for the agency's managers. There are good opportunities to shape the role based on your expertise and in relation to the rest of the unit.

Interviews will be held in Karlstad on January 21 and 22.

Your Responsibilities

In your role as HR Partner, you will act as the HR contact for one or more departments, which means being the support for managers in a wide range of HR and employer issues. You will also have a specialization in a specific area such as work environment or competence supply. The work is varied and takes place both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and managers. Administrative work is also a natural part of the tasks.

Your Qualifications

The position requires that you have:

• A degree in human resources and labor relations or equivalent education that the employer deems comparable
• Several years of experience in broad HR work or recruitment

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in HR work within the public sector
• Experience in competency-based recruitment

Your Personal Qualities

To succeed in your role, you have a consultative approach and the ability to create sustainable relationships with managers, employees, and union representatives. You are self-driven and proactive in your professional role, while also being a team player. You have high integrity and communicate in a way that is tailored to the target audience.

About the Employment
